Australian label changes for phenoxy herbicides
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has called for label changes to several phenoxy herbicides to reduce spray drift. It requires no-spray zones in downwind areas to protect aquatic life, native vegetation and non-target crops. The APVMA will require registrants of the herbicides, 2,4-DB, dichlorprop, MCPA, MCPB and mecoprop to make the label changes. The phenoxy herbicide, 2,4-D, is being reviewed separately.
