Rallis wins growth strategy award
Indian agrochemical company Rallis India has received the Growth Strategy Excellence Award in the Indian Crop Protection Chemicals Market from the business research and consulting firm, Frost & Sullivan. The award, based on a detailed analysis of the Indian crop protection market, recognises Rallis’ ability to “best perceive consumer needs and develop marketing strategies that elevate the brand’s quality”. Rallis’ distribution network covers some 80% of India’s districts. The company recorded sales of Rs 6,591.8 million ($135.3 million at the current rate) in the nine months ending December 31st 2008 ( Agrow No 560, p 4).
