Brazil to be world's No1 agchem market
The Brazilian agrochemical market is “just a few years away” from being the world’s largest. That is the prediction of the agricultural market research group, Kleffman, Reuters reports. Volume sales will be the main component of growth rather than a declining US dollar. Brazil became the second largest market, overtaking Japan in 2003, according to our sister publication, Agrow reports. Executives from Makhteshim-Agan Industries predicted the same after presenting the company’s second quarter results this month (see this issue).
