UK PSD revises impact assessment on 91/414 reform

The UK Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) has brought out a revised impact assessment of the proposed revision of the EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414). The assessment revises the one published by the PSD in May ( Agrow No 544, p 15). It considers the impact of the provisions in the common position of the Council of EU Ministers adopted in September ( Agrow No 552, p 10) and the European Parliament’s Environment, Public Health and Food Safety Committee’s second reading report adopted in early November ( Agrow No 556, p 11). The PSD has also analysed the potential impact of endocrine disruptors based on criteria used in a Swedish impact assessment.
