Argentine 2008 agchem audit nearly clean
Argentina suspended the export registration of four audited pesticide products in 2008 following quality control analyses. The co-ordinator of pesticide and biological products of the Argentine national animal and plant health inspection service, the Senasa, collected 1,927 samples of products for import or export. Some 53% of those products were analysed for any irregularities, such as the composition and labelling of registered active ingredients, formulations and mixtures. They included 49% of the 1,492 samples for export, and 65% of the 435 for import.
