Qiangr Biochemical wins patent suit

The Chinese agrochemical company, Qiangr Biochemical (Heilongjiang), has won a legal battle over violation of its pesticide patent rights against fellow subsidiary companies of the pharmaceutical and agrochemical company, Along Tibet (Chengdu). Qiangr Biochemical took legal action against Sichuan Jinzhu Ecology and Agriculture, Tibet Jinzhu and Jundong Seeds, which were accused of violating the patent rights of its antibiotic active ingredient, ningnanmycin. The case was brought to the Ha’erbin city court and the high court of Heilongjiang province, reports the Chinese agrochemical newswire, Agronet.
