Exosect and MAI distribution deal

Makhteshim-Agan Industries (MAI) is to distribute products of UK pest control company Exosect (Winchester, Hampshire) in seven countries. The companies have agreed a deal for MAI to sell Exosect’s Exosex IPM products, including the patented Entostat brand powder technology. It is formulated with species-specific pheromones. The products are for use on top fruit and “other potential” crops, against codling moths and other pests. The deal covers Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Spain. Exosect managing director Martin Brown rates the deal as an “important step” for the company. It expects growing sales in Belgium and 2010 product launches in the Netherlands.
