Argentine market heads south
The Argentine crop protection market is set to fall by 10% this year in volume and value terms, a market research study finds. The study comes from the consultancy, Claves Informacion Competitiva, the national newswire, Campodiario, reports. The market has been hit by an uncertain economy, poor government/agricultural industry relations and a lack of credit, it says. The report follows a warning from the country’s industry association, the CASAFE, of a fall of up to 15% this year ( Agrow No 569, p 19).
