EU Court recognises Wynca's market economy status
Chinese agrochemical company and exporter of the herbicide, glyphosate, Zhejiang Wynca Chemical, has won a glyphosate anti-dumping tax dispute with the Council of the European Union and the EU Commission. The dispute lasted for four and a half years. The EU Court of First Instance has ruled that the EU had committed a “manifest error of assessment” in denying Wynca’s market economy status, and in imposing the anti-dumping duty of 29.9% on the company's glyphosate. It has thus been revoked, the Chinese company reports. The EU Council is to bear responsibility for all of Wynca's litigation costs.
