Brazil OKs Helm's generics
German agrochemical company Helm has gained approvals in Brazil for the sale of two generic fungicide products, according to Brazil's generic industry association, the AENDA. The company has commercial approvals for Difenoconazole 250 EC Helm and Tebuconazole 200 EC Helm Tebuhelm. The registration of the company's difenoconazole product is the first for a generic version of Syngenta's fungicide. It is approved for use on cereals against leaf spot and rust, bananas against black sigatoka, and potatoes against early blight.
