Mexico President mulls GMO (genetically modified organism) rules

Final draft regulations in Mexico to allow the planting of genetically modified crops are in the hands of its President, Felipe Calderon. The verdict of the President is expected by the end of the summer, the country's biosafety commission, the CIBIOGEM, told Agrow. There are uncertainties over the timing of the decision, it concedes.
