Nufarm expands US seed treatment range
Nufarm plans a rapid expansion of its seed treatment range in the US this year. The company introduced its first seed treatment, the insecticide, Senator (imidacloprid), last year and expects to have 15 seed treatments on the market by the end of 2009. It has already introduced four tebuconazole fungicide-based seed treatments under the Sativa brand, including combinations with imidacloprid and the fungicide, metalaxyl. It has also launched Signet (metalaxyl) and the fungicidal seed treatment, Spera (myclobutanil), this year.
