Dow AgroSciences expands US research facilities
Dow AgroSciences is to gain additional laboratory and office space for some 100 researchers near its global headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, US. It has signed a 15-year lease for an 80,000 sq ft (7,400 m 2) building to be constructed on a nearby technology campus. The company expects to occupy the building by mid-2010. “This expansion will enable us to accelerate investment in new scientific expertise, capabilities and markets for our growing seeds, traits and oils business,” says the company’s vice-president of research and development, Dr Daniel Kittle.
