Brazilian agchem market jump in June
Agrochemical sales in Brazil jumped by 22% in June compared with the same month last year, according to national markets newswire Agencia Estado. The figure refers to sales in Brazilian currency terms and reportedly comes from the Brazilian agrochemical industry trade association, the Sindag. It is the main market surveyor. Fungicides rose by half, insecticides by 21% and herbicides by 14%, newswire Agrodiario reports. The autumn maize, soybean, tomato, potato, cotton and wheat sectors drove growth.
