Gowan launches Nichino's Moncoat MZ

The US agrochemical company, Gowan (Yuma, Arizona), has introduced the fungicide, Moncoat MZ (flutolanil + mancozeb), under a marketing agreement with Nihon Nohyaku’s US subsidiary, Nichino America. Gowan will market the product in the major potato-growing areas of the US for the suppression of several key diseases including black scurf ( Rhizoctonia solani), silver scurf ( Helminthosporium solani) and Fusarium dry rot. Gowan also markets Nichino’s fungicide, Moncut 70-DF (flutolanil), for use on potatoes.
