Bayer launches Fenos in Spain
Bayer CropScience has launched its insecticide, Fenos (flubendiamide 24%), in Spain. It has been granted an exceptional use registration, valid for 120 days. The approval is for use on tomatoes in greenhouses. Fenos is a water-dispersible granule formulation for the control of tomato leaf miners ( Tuta absoluta). Bayer recommends two applications per cycle at 15-25 g/hl. The company hopes to gain registration for use on all horticultural plants “very soon”.
