Syngenta debuts Voliam Targo on Argentine soy
Syngenta has launched a combination insecticide based on DuPont’s chlorantraniliprole in Argentina for use on soybeans. Voliam Targo (chlorantraniliprole + abamectin) is a suspension concentrate formulation for use against soybean loopers ( Anticarsia gemmatalis), two-spotted spider mites ( Tetranychus urticae), American bean thrips ( Caliothrips phaseoli) and Rachiplusia nu. The company already markets Voliam Targo in the country for use on apples and pears ( Agrow No 557, p 22). Syngenta has a global licence from DuPont to use the active ingredient in combination products ( Agrow No 491, p 1).
