Syngenta opens Chile test facility
Syngenta opened an agricultural technology research facility in Chile in November. The Centro de Innovación Agrícola covers 4 ha and will host field trials of various Syngenta products. “The initiative will integrate the different areas of Syngenta’s business, including seeds, seed treatments, and crop protection products,” the company says. The facility will initially be used for testing products on maize, barley, wheat and beet.
