No proof that BPA leads to increased heart attack risk, says EFSA

There is no sufficient proof of a causal link between exposure to the food contact material bisphenol A and heart disease and diabetes, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) said last month in a statement on a study by U.K. and U.S.-based researchers published in September. The study linked the chemical with increased risk of health problems.
