Dow AgroSciences has submitted a new herbicide-tolerant soybean trait to USDA for review and deregulation, putting the company's new herbicide tolerant technology on schedule for planned U.S. introduction. The soybean event submission follows closely behind a corn event submission in August. The herbicide tolerance trait package for soybeans conveys tolerance to the broadleaf phenoxy auxin herbicide 2,4-D to combat weeds resistant to other herbicides.
