Cheminova records flat Q1 sales
Cheminova recorded muted sales growth of 0.7% to DKK 1,437 million ($252 million at the current rate) in the first quarter of 2009. The increase was 3% at constant exchange rates. The growth was partly attributable to German agrochemical company Stahler, which was fully consolidated within Cheminova from March 1st ( Agrow No 562, p 1). It was a passive start to the year after an impressive 30% growth in 2008 ( Agrow No 565, pp 5-6). Agrochemicals account for about 90% of Cheminova’s sales.
