EID Parry’s bioproducts sales up

Indian company EID Parry (Chennai) registered bioproducts sales of Rs 126.5 million ($3.1 million) in its third fiscal quarter ended December 31st 2007. This represented an increase of 13.8% over the corresponding quarter in the previous year. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased by 6.4% to Rs 21.6 million ($500,000). Nine-month sales increased by 43% to Rs 300.5 million ($7.4 million). The bioproducts division includes neem-based pesticides sold under the NeemAzal brand.
