Staphyt acquires Astria 59

French contract research organisation (CRO) Staphyt (Inchy-en-Artois) has acquired French field trials company Astria 59. Astria 59 is based at Saultain in northern France and formed part of the Astria network of companies with trial stations located across France. The acquisition allows Staphyt Seeds, which claims to be the leading CRO for field trials of arable crops in Europe, to widen its range of services. The trials currently in progress on the Saultain station will continue to be managed by the local team, which will become part of Staphyt.
