Expiry date set for tepraloxydim EU approval
The European Commission has confirmed that EU approval for the graminicide, tepraloxydim, will expire on May 31st 2015. The decision was cleared by the EU regulatory committee last year after the applicant decided not to further pursue a renewal of the authorisation. BASF gained the original EU approval in 2005. The new expiry date cancels a previous extension to July 31st 2017 to allow more time for EU renewal procedures.
