US Oregon County GM crop ban supporters allowed to intervene

Local farmers and the Center for Food Safety (CFS) have been granted a request to help defend Jackson County's ban on genetically modified crops in the US state of Oregon. US Magistrate Judge Mark Clarke ruled last week that the CFS, two Jackson County farmers and the non-profit Our Family Farms Coalition, have "concrete agricultural and economic interests" that warrant allowing them to intervene in the lawsuit that seeks to upend the GM crop ban.
