Dow expands Mycogen site in Puerto Rico
Dow AgroSciences affiliate Mycogen Seeds has opened a maize and soybean seed research and development facility in the US territory of Puerto Rico. Mycogen Seeds has operated in Puerto Rico since 1992 and the decision to expand came from the growth in agricultural opportunities, the company points out. The new Salinas/Guayama site includes 16 buildings covering more than 70,000 sq ft (6,500 m2). It includes offices, seed laboratories, storage areas and several fields.
