South Korea OKs Stockton’s Timorex Gold
Israeli biopesticide company Stockton has received approval in South Korea for its biofungicide, Timorex Gold, which is based on Melaleuca alternifolia extract. The approval from the Pest Management Regulatory Agency is for greenhouse and outdoor use on a variety of fruits and vegetables including cucumbers, strawberries, pumpkins and red peppers, and rice. Stockton has entered a distribution agreement with South Korean agrochemical company Atlatech. “This agreement is very meaningful due to the continued growth of the high-value crops in Korea, which is expected to continue in the next years,” says Stockton chief executive officer Ziv Tirosh.
