EFSA simplifies file sharing for agchem applications
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has simplified the procedure for electronic exchange of files associated with applications for approval of agrochemical active ingredients. Applicants can now use their own user name and password to access an online platform for sharing documents with the EFSA. It can be employed for draft assessment reports, renewal assessment reports and the redaction of background documents for the EU peer review of ai applications. The initiative will streamline the process and increase efficiency in the exchange of files with applicants, the Authority says. It plans to review the new procedure within six months and further refine the process if necessary.
