Noposion testing agriproduce e-commerce application
Chinese company Shenzhen Noposion Agrochemical is working on an agriproduce e-commerce mobile phone application that is in internal testing, according to Chinese media reports. Consumers will be able to buy agriproduce directly via the application, which as yet does not have an official release date. The application is part of the company’s strategy to build an “online to offline” marketing platform, which Noposion unveiled last year, and predicts will contribute Yuan 957.6 million ($153.1 million at the current rate) to annual revenues and Yuan 98.2 million ($15.7 million) to annual profit. Some Yuan 300 million ($48 million) has been earmarked for investment in the e-commerce platform. Noposion is China’s largest manufacturer of agrochemical formulations, and has a 4% share of the domestic pesticide retail market, via a network of retailers and dealerships, reports add.
