SGS upgrades US research facility
Swiss inspection, verification and testing company SGS has upgraded its US field research station in Wyoming, Illinois. The 10,000 sq ft (930 m2) facility is equipped to conduct an array of field studies on site and has a dedicated chemical and seed storage space, the company points out. Studies carried out at the site include pesticide efficacy and GLP trials for pesticide residues and biotechnology traits. SGS field stations across the US passed sponsor company audits in 2014, confirming the quality of its GLP trials services, the company adds.
