US court wrestles with Enlist Duo herbicide controversy
The US EPA and Dow AgroSciences have urged the US 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to reject a request by environmentalists to delay commercialisation of the company’s herbicide, Enlist Duo (2,4-D choline + glyphosate), arguing that the plaintiffs have failed to show that such a move is justified. Dow called the bid by the coalition of environmental groups, led by the Center for Food Safety (CFS), “untimely and abusive.”
