Rizobacter debuts sedaxane STs in Argentina
Argentine seed treatment supplier Rizobacter (Buenos Aires) has launched two fungicidal seed treatments based on Syngenta’s carboxamide fungicide, sedaxane. Compinche SX and Tenacius SX are for use on winter wheat and barley. The broad-spectrum products act on soil- and seed-borne diseases, including Rhizoctonia spp, and on foliar diseases, the company says. They also aid stress tolerance through enhanced soil and water absorption. Rizobacter exclusively supplies sedaxane-based seed treatments in Argentina, and is one of the few companies worldwide to supply such products, it says. Syngenta’s first launch of the active ingredient came in Argentina four years ago.
