Reckitt ends US d-CON product supplies
US rodenticide manufacture Reckitt Benckiser stopped supplying 12 diphacinone-based d-CON products on April 1st. The move followed an agreement with the EPA last year because the products are sold without a protective bait station and pose risks to children and pets. Moreover, eight of the 12 products pose unacceptable risks to certain wildlife, the EPA notes. Retailers may sell and consumers may buy the products until stocks are exhausted.
