ISK seeks US OK for cyclaniliprole
The US EPA has notified receipt of an application from Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha's (ISK) US subsidiary. ISK Biosciences (Concord, Ohio), to register the insecticide, Cyclaniliprole 50 SL (cyclaniliprole 4.55%), for use on pome and stone fruit, tree nuts, grapevines, cucurbits, brassicas and other vegetables, with an import tolerance for tea. It is for the control of lepidopteran and sucking pests. ISK has also applied to register the insecticide in Canada, Australia, Japan and the EU. The US EPA has scheduled an approval decision for early 2016.
