Chinese pesticide prices partly recover in March
China’s average pesticide prices saw month-on-month increases in March 2015 as the country’s agrochemical market entered peak season. However, the average price index was still well below last year’s levels, reports the China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA). The March price index hit 88.1, up 6.9 points on the previous month, but still 16.7 points lower than at the same time last year. The base of 100 was recorded in February 2013. In December 2014 the price index fell to 88.1, the first time it had fallen below 90.
