BioWorks expands RootShield range
The US biopesticide company, BioWorks (Victor, New York), has introduced two new versions of its established biofungicide, RootShield (Trichoderma harzianum strain T-22). RootShield Seed Treatment helps shield seeds from soil-borne pathogens, the company notes. RootShield AG protects roots of agricultural crops from many pathogens including Pythium spp, Rhizoctonia spp, Fusarium spp, Thielaviopsis spp and Cylindrocladium spp. Both products are formulated as wettable powders and can be used alone or in conjunction with certain chemical fungicides.
