US lawmakers pull up USDA and EPA on pollinators

Congressional Republicans have scolded officials from the US EPA and USDA for not working together on the issue of pollinator health and suggested that pesticides are being unfairly blamed for the decline of bees and other pollinators. “We see a disagreement between agencies that are supposed to be working together and this is what frustrates us,” said Representative Rodney Davis, an Illinois Republican and chair of the House Agriculture subcommittee on biotechnology, horticulture and research.
