ISO names seven more new ais
The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names for Pesticides has provisionally approved seven new active ingredient names. Three come from Japanese companies, two from Chinese concerns and two from top six multinationals. Sumitomo Chemical gained approval for epsilon-metofluthrin (S-1264) and epsilon-momfluorothrin (S-1563), which are each single isomers of the pyrethroid insecticide, metofluthrin. Fluxametamide is an insecticide from Nissan Chemical Industries being developed under the code names, NC-515 and A253. Chloroprallethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide from China. Chinese company Sinochem's diamide insecticide, cyhalodiamide, is being developed as ZJ4042. DuPont's fluazaindolizine is a nematicide being developed as DPX-Q8U80. Pydiflumetofen (SYN545974) is a pyrazole fungicide from Syngenta. All ISO pesticide names are listed on Alan Wood's Compendium of Pesticide Common Names.
