Stockton debuts Timorex Gold in Colombia
Israeli biopesticide company Stockton has launched its Melaleuca alternifolia extract-based biofungicide, Timorex Gold, in Colombia. The authorities granted authorisation last month for use on maize to control tar spot (Phyllchora maydis) and coffee for the control of rust (Hemileia vastatrix). The approval follows recent authorisations in Mexico on coffee, South Korea on various fruits and vegetables, and Macedonia on tomatoes, potatoes and grapevines. The product is authorised in 35 countries, including neighbouring Central American markets on coffee, the company notes.
