Dow seeks NZ approval for Arylex
Dow AgroSciences has applied to the New Zealand Environmental Protection Authority to import its halauxifen-methyl (trade-marked as Arylex)-based herbicide, GF-2687 (halauxifen-methyl 20% + florasulam 20%), for the control of broadleaf weeds in cereals. The wettable granule formulation contains two active ingredients that have not been registered before in New Zealand. The product is for ground and aerial application, and is expected to be applied up to two times per crop cycle. Dow plans to market the same combination of ais in Australia as Paradigm. It received Australian approval for halauxifen-methyl in April. The New Zealand application is open to public comment until July 20th.
