BASF’s Orkestra gains 21 crop uses in Brazil
BASF’s fungicide, Orkestra (fluxapyroxad – trade-marked as Xemium + pyraclostrobin – trade-marked as F 500), has gained Brazilian use extension to 21 crops since new rules were introduced on registering of minor crop use, newswire Agrolink reports. The suspension concentrate formulation’s approval has been extended to potatoes, onions, carrots, melons, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes, as well as its approvals for grains such as wheat, maize sorghum and sunflowers. Brazil amended legislation to promote such approvals last year. Orkestra was initially approved for use on soybeans in 2013.
