Informa Life Sciences' 15th AgChem Forum, Uniting Science and Policy for the Safe Use of Agrochemicals, will be held at Barcelona, Spain on September 23rd-24th 2015. The conference consists of three simultaneously running streams. The first on Regulatory Frameworks will focus on: feedback from the European Commission; developments at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA); zonal authorisation procedures; PPP (plant protection product) application management system; product renewal and Article 43; progress on AIR-2 and AIR-3; comparative assessment and candidates for substitution; biopesticides; and data protection. The second stream on Environmental Safety - Ecotoxicology will examine: risk assessment for bees; non-target arthropods and non-target plants; soil risk assessment; protected crops; soil risk assessment and PECs in E-Fate; surface water and spray drift; and ground water. The third stream on Human Safety: Operator, Residential and Bystander Exposure will cover: current projects; novel toxicology testing for non-dietary exposure; novel toxicology testing for dietary exposure; dietary risk assessment; and low residues. There is a pre-conference workshop on Biologicals and Biostimulants: Regulatory Considerations and Risk Assessments. A post-conference workshop will focus on Practical Implementation of CLP and GHS in the Agrochemical, REACH and Biocide Industries.
