Brazil use extension for Syngenta’s Ampligo
Syngenta has been granted a Brazilian use extension of its combination insecticide, Ampligo (chlorantraniliprole 100 g/litre + lamba-cyhalothrin 50 g/litre). The approval is for use during pre-planting desiccation in soybeans. The insecticide has become the only diamide-based formulation on the market for such use. Ampligo holds various Brazilian use registrations covering cotton, maize, citrus fruits, potatoes and tomatoes. It made its international debut in November 2010 in Chile. Syngenta has worldwide rights to develop combination products based on DuPont's chlorantraniliprole.
