Four Chinese companies exit pesticide market
Four more agrochemical companies have “voluntarily given up” their pesticide businesses and withdrawn from the Chinese market, according to the latest list from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This is the sixth such list to be published this year, with 13 companies having left the market by August. The four companies, all manufacturers of pesticide formulations, exited the market with the unspecified “assistance” of two other chemical companies. Chinese stock market-listed fine chemical company Lianhetech was listed as providing assistance to two of the four formulators.
