EU re-applications for two ais
Two companies have resubmitted applications for EU approval of active ingredients. Nihon Nohyaku has re-applied for the insecticide, buprofezin, with the UK as rapporteur member state. United Phosphorus has re-applied for the herbicide, napropamide, with Denmark as rapporteur. The applications have been submitted under EU procedures covering ais that have been unsuccessful so far in gaining re-registration and a listing on Annex I of the EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414).
