Brazil Q1 sales - correction
Insecticides and herbicides accounted for most Brazilian pesticide sales in the first quarter of 2008. Both had a 38% share of the R$2,055 million ($1,207 million) market, the Brazilian agrochemical trade union, the Sindag, clarifies. It had said that fungicides had accounted for as much of the market as the other segments ( Agrow No 543, p 17). Fungicides only made up 20% of sales.
