DuPont herbicides for glyphosate-tolerant maize:

DuPont has received US approval for two sulfonylurea-based herbicides for tank-mixing with glyphosate for use on glyphosate-tolerant maize. Require Q (rimsulfuron 6.3% + dicamba 52.9%) and Resolve Q (rimsulfuron 18.4% + thifensulfuron-methyl 4%) provide contact and residual control of a range of grasses and broadleaf weeds. They provide sound management of glyphosate-resistant weeds, DuPont points out. Both include the safener, isoxadifen, to allow use under a wide range of conditions on more maize hybrids, the company adds. Resolve Q is recommended for use at 1.25 oz/acre (0.9 kg/ha) and Require Q at 4 oz/acre.
