More azinphos-methyl uses end in US:

The US EPA has banned the sale and use of the organophosphate insecticide, azinphos-methyl, on Brussels sprouts and nursery stock as part of a registrant-agreed phase-out of the active ingredient (Agrow No 508, p 14). Use of azinphos-methyl on almonds, walnuts and pistachios can continue until October 30th 2009, while all remaining uses will end on September 30th 2012. The cancellation agreement is dependent on the EPA determining whether to conduct a risk/benefit analysis on remaining uses by November 1st 2011 (Agrow No 526, p 16).
