Bayer mixes deltamethrin in mosquito nets - correction

Bayer CropScience is to launch a vector control product “in the next few years”. It claims to be the first company to have incorporated the active ingredient into the fibre for mosquito nets, but not the first to have inserted into any nets, as previously reported. Similar products with insecticide-incorporated nets are already available. Danish pest control company Intelligent Insect Control (Copenhagen) sells other insecticide-incorporated nets, such as its polyethylene net, marketed as Netprotect.
