Human Studies Review Board: Oct. 21-22
EPA's Human Studies Review Board is holding a meeting Oct. 21-22 from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 5:30 p.m. Eastern time each day. The meeting will take place at EPA's lobby level conference center, One Potomac Yard (South Bldg.), 2777 S. Crystal Drive, Arlington, Va. EPA is scheduled to brief the HSRB on its draft document, Guideline for Efficacy Testing of Skin-Applied Repellents. EPA will also present for HSRB review scientific and ethical issues surrounding several protocols from the Agricultural Handlers Exposure Task Force for research to monitor the exposure of individuals in closed cabs and open cabs who apply an agricultural pesticide using airblast equipment.
